Huatai Insurance Company of China, Limited, incorporated in Beijing, China, on August29, 1996 with a registered capital of RMB 1,333 billion, is the first nationwide joint-stock property insurance company in China. The Company’s 53 shareholders engage in 24 industries including petroleum, power, metallurgy, electronics, chemicals, aviation, shopping and etc, most of which are powerful and profitable enterprises or enterprise groups, with a total assets exceeding RMB 2 trillion. In May 2002, ACE Group, a world’s leading provider of insurance and reinsurance, became the single largest shareholder of Huatai and brought new management concept and a global business network. Such policy can be designed around your particular exporting needs, and it helps you protect your markets by transferring certain of your risks to the insurance company at a known cost for which you can budget.
